Gift Card Raiser is a revolutionary new type of fundraising program that helps you raise money for your choice of school or nonprofit groups by paying for your everyday purchases with gift cards bought from Gift Card Raiser. To do this, we need to know certain information about you, so that we can properly administer our business and allocate your earnings as you have instructed.
We at Gift Card Raiser know that many people are concerned about privacy and the security of their personal information, and we want you to know that we take your privacy very seriously and make it our priority to protect it. To set up your membership with Gift Card Raiser, you will need to provide certain contact information, such as your name, mailing address, email address and phone number. In addition, you will need to specify which schools' or nonprofit groups' programs you wish to support.
This information allows us to fulfill your orders properly, to contact you about promotions and new opportunities to earn contributions with Gift Card Raiser, unless you opt out of receiving these messages, which can be done in the My Profile section of our Supporter site.
As a Gift Card Raiser Member, you can generate money that is contributed to your choice of schools and nonprofit groups by shopping with our participating companies. When you order Gift Card Raiser certificates we ask you for certain information, including which certificates you want, in what quantities and as how you want your order delivered. The information we collect is used expressly to administer our business, to ensure proper delivery of your orders, to calculate your earnings and to properly allocate those earnings according to your instructions.
We will maintain records to keep track of the earnings you accumulate from your purchases with our participating companies. You can use our website to view your Gift Card Raiser account balances and recent account activities, and update your account profile.
As is true of most web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes the internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We use this information to analyze trends, to administer our web site, to track users' movements around the web site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

Doing so ensures that your contributions are properly tracked and received. It also helps us inform you of new contributing companies who may help you boost earnings for your chosen nonprofit groups.
Through our various online offerings, we may provide links to third-party websites, such as those of our contributing companies. Each of these sites may have separate privacy and different data-collection practices from Gift Card Raiser, and we are not responsible for the actions or practices of these third parties, nor for the content on these sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of their sites. Finally, please remember that when you shop or do any other business with any of our participating companies, any information you provide to them is subject to their own privacy and data collection practices, for which Gift Card Raiser is not responsible.
If there is a change of control in Gift Card Raiser's business (whether by merger, sale, or otherwise), its customer information could be sold as part of that transaction and your personally identifying information potentially could be used by the purchaser. We will notify you via prominent notice on the Gift Card Raiser site for 30 days prior to such a change of ownership or control of your personal information, or prior to the implementation of any material change in this statement or our information-handling practices as described in this statement.
